   I am in the process of absorbing “Mortally Immortal.” I say “process” because the volume and depth of your poetry requires time and a little soul searching to formulate a true opinion. Therefore, I offer a review of “The Science of Sight.” I am enamored with your ability to utlize words like paints and oils with your unique vision of the world as your canvas. This particular piece presents the multidimensional aspects of sight and, I dare say, that certain lines regarding thoughts such as “a hooligan eying me” and “I can see my future and fate fade” allude to the undeniable truth that the mind is indeed the third eye from which perceptions flow and evolve, when absorbed by the pupils. I apprecialte how you interweaving of the metaphysical with the tangible. With that being said, I conclude that “The Science of Sight” presents.visions from a visionary. Read Less

   MORTALLY IMMORTAL REVIEW Uncensored Perspectives Mortally Immortal, by Lawren E. Greene, is a comprehensive anthology that feels greatly influenced by life’s events. The anthology is authored by one individual, and some poems read similar to rhyming journal entries. They have a cathartic feel with contemplative undertones. ”why the words” would have been an excellent thematic opener that links mortality with the author’s persona. Mr. Greene is capable of great influence. He could easily inspire most readers to wonder who he is as a real person. Thus, chronology of his writing is of great importance. Organizing the content in a tighter package could allow for seamless transitions. Interpreting the meanings of the author’s pieces could feel easier if poems were clearly divided beyond volume in some fashion, such as type of poem, tone, chronology, or topic. Some poems feel like personal commentaries that offer a lighter experience than others. Pausing to keep the reader engaged through reading a work of this length may make the journey most memorable. In conjunction, true poetry lovers may also find themselves wanting to look up previously read poems. Mr. Greene’s best success with this anthology is garnered through his creative authenticity and gift of word choice. However, he may consider opting to present his favorite pieces publicly, as opposed to including so many.    A Mighty Flow Lawren E. Greene’s Diary of a Waterman merges a gap between life, philosophy and current events. The poet’s eclectic style ranges from rhyming prose to reflections that nearly feel like essays derived from living and observing tastes of life over time. Mr. Greene’s literary voice sounds stronger and smoother than Mortally Immortal. “Magdalena” embodies crisp poetic movement. “So Tired of Running” offers a similar flow but with more authority. “Anchored in Capitalism” and “The Warrior’s Circumference” leave room for philosophical inquiries and discussion starters. “Now I am Older” shows Green at his best—his highest poetical potential easily can make readers crave more soul-stirring prose that weaves life’s most memorable moments together. His best rhythmic style has a simple yet authentic feel which should be continued. The meaning of the most favored poems flow well with a single read. Diary of a Waterman reaches toward Greene’s ownership of his creative individuality. Each poem is meant to be savored and fully digested. Thus, this type of work could have greater impact with detailed arrangement beyond the Table of Contents and Volume. It is an anthology of great length and may be polished by sorting the works by theme, time period and/or date. In fact, it is easy to imagine that Mr. Greene could offer shorter future volumes that may inspire faster growth of a new following, while satisfying current aficionados.
